The Senior Account Executive is a critical driver of Genesys' success, responsible for growing revenue and acquiring new business while expanding existing customer relationships. As a consultative sales professional, this role focuses on aligning business challenges with tailored Genesys solutions, demonstrating the value of our technology to meet client objectives. The Senior Account Executive owns the entire sales process, managing resources, leading sales campaigns, and delivering results across the opportunity pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute account strategies, forecasting accurately and allocating resources effectively to manage and close complex enterprise sales opportunities.
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and prospects by understanding their business needs and aligning Genesys solutions to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Solution Selling: Deliver web-based and in-person presentations, articulating Genesys solutions to meet client requirements and drive competitive differentiation.
  • Demand Generation: Increase pipeline growth through targeted campaigns, demand generation strategies, and proactive outreach to new logo accounts.
  • Industry Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of Genesys products, competitors, and industry trends, leveraging insights to influence the sales cycle and provide strategic value to clients.
  • Pipeline Management: Create and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring visibility into opportunities and delivering against quarterly and annual revenue goals.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (BS or BA).
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in Cloud or SaaS-based solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex sales cycles with consistent revenue attainment.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and closing skills, with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently to exceed goals.

Preferred Skills:

  • A deep understanding of customer business environments, including industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
