District Sales Leader- Hospital Patient Monitoring (Rocky Mountains)
The District Sales Leader for Hospital Patient Monitoring is responsible for leading and managing the sales activities within a designated district focused on hospital IDN accounts. This role involves driving sales OIT and revenue, building and maintaining customer relationships, and managing a team of sales representatives. The District Sales Leader will promote and sell patient monitoring systems and to hospitals and healthcare organizations. Region includes the following states: ND, SD, MT, WY, ID, UT, NV, CA, CO, NE.
Your role:
- You will be responsible for sales strategy and execution within the assigned district. Identify and prioritize target hospital accounts, market segments, and growth opportunities. Lead the sales team in executing sales strategies, prospecting new customers, and closing deals.
- You will build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, including administrators, physicians, and clinical leaders. Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of patient monitoring solutions.
- You will recruit, train, and motivate a team of ~8 sales representatives within the district. Drive successful attainment of sales targets and performance metrics, monitor individual and team performance, and provide coaching and development to achieve sales goals. Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and territory assessments to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- You will monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to patient monitoring solutions in the hospital segment. Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and potential challenges.
- You will prepare accurate sales forecasts, with weekly daily management. Ensure district pipeline is sufficient (2.5X quota) to meet targets. Maintain a view of all districts Big Deals (>$2M) three quarters out. Monitor and report out on market trends, and competitor activities within the assigned district.
You're the right fit if:
- You have acquired a minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, with a focus on selling to hospitals. Prior experience in a sales leadership or management role is required.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A degree in healthcare management, a clinical discipline or healthcare informatics is a plus.
- You have a strong understanding of patient monitoring technologies, solutions, and market dynamics in the hospital segment. Familiarity with the competitive landscape and trends in the healthcare industry. You have a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, developing new business opportunities, and successfully managing complex sales cycles. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- You have demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to lead and motivate a sales team, set clear objectives, and drive performance. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $299,000 to $348,000 annually, plus company fleet/car. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.
Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here.
