As an Account Manager I within PNC's Treasury Management Commercial Card organization, you will be based anywhere within the PNC footprint.

A PNC Card Account Manager works to develop strong relationships with clients and internal partners. They will identify new business opportunities, cross sell other PNC products and help clients achieve their companies' goals and initiatives. A PNC Card Account Manager will keep up on the latest industry trends, recommend best practices and consult on payment strategies specific to the client's own business. A PNC Card Account Manager will foster long term relationships, gain and increase trust, meet PNC and client goals as well as help maintain consistent processes. A PNC Card Account Manager will forge long-term loyalty beyond the transaction.

Expectations/Requirements:

- Significant experience in a client facing role (sales, service, account management)
- 2+ years of experience in the commercial card industry
- Strong understanding of working capital, corporate payments, accounts payable/account systems
- Proficient in data analysis, Excel and PowerPoint
- Deliver a superior client experience through collaboration with internal partners
- Be a leader on the team and mentor others as needed
- Excellent presentation skills virtual and/or in-person
- Previous account management experience is a plus
- Some travel is required - client visits as needed, team offsite meetings are required
- Reside in the Mountain or Pacific time zones to support PNC's clients in those markets

This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

Job Description
  • Under direct supervision, works in support of assigned long-term client relationships. Provides sales or consultative support to clients and serves as the liaison between clients and operational servicing units. May participate in pricing and resource discussions and in developing the scope of service provided to existing and potential clients.
  • Serves as point of contact for client matters. May help identify and develop new servicing opportunities with existing clients to build and maintain a long-lasting relationship. Utilizes basic industry and PNC knowledge to inform customers of appropriate products/services, rates, and other opportunities.
  • Involved in negotiating servicing agreements and servicing fees for existing clients if contract modifications are needed. Will work with in-house counsel and clients on contract negotiations. This includes the review of the servicing agreements to ensure contract terms meet servicing guidelines.
  • Analyzes, assesses and documents client requirements. Forecasts and tracks key account metrics May identify customization needs, and work with service partners to implement.
  • Supports processes outlined in the contract and independently resolves challenges regarding implementation and production issues. Works towards finding the best solution to maintain a positive client relationship.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $34,000.00 – $104,650.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
