The Account Executive - Credit Unions is a client-facing, high-touch, sales role responsible for revenue generation, customer relationship and EFX engagement within the Credit Union space. The Account Executive is responsible for opening new doors and hallways in the Credit Union industry and solving complex challenges that our existing Credit Union customers face in the areas of fraud, risk, compliance, identity, and marketing.
The ideal candidate is a proven sales 'hunter' professional with a well established network and thorough understanding of how data technologies can benefit Credit Unions.
What you'll do
Build strong relationships to foster and maintain Credit Union/partner trust
Grow Credit Union/partner revenue across the full Equifax solution portfolio
Orchestrate Equifax resources to deliver customer value and satisfaction
Strengthen the business relationship by expanding the ways in which the customer/partner relies on Equifax as a trusted advisor
Identify, develop, manage, and close customer opportunities spanning all Equifax solutions
Engage with buyers, decision-makers, influencers and customer executives on a consultative basis to gain a strong understanding of their business, anticipate needs, and position optimal solutions
Define and execute sales strategies that drive profitable growth while delivering meaningful customer value
Leverage Account, Solution, and Delivery Pre-Sales/Sales resources effectively and at appropriate times to move opportunities forward and to maintain customer satisfaction
Lead customer business reviews, RFI/RFP response, contracting & negotiation, and account strategy & planning activities with cross-functional team to align customer business imperatives with Equifax solutions
Manage contracting and contract compliance
Drive strong pipeline development and sales execution
Engage with associations and activities within the credit union industry and have a solid understanding of the industry and the trends and legislation that affect it
What experience you need
7-10 years of proven success in customer-facing sales roles with a focus on continued growth and revenue generation, preferably within the Credit Union industry
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Thorough working knowledge of data & analytics technology solutions for risk management, compliance, identity, fraud, and/or marketing
Demonstrated track record of exceeding expectations against revenue goals with highly complex, strategic clients
What could set you apart
Deep knowledge of and vast network within the Credit Union industry
Experience selling into or consulting with Credit Unions and/or experience working at a Credit Union
Strong executive presence and communication skills
Negotiation and influencing skills
Ability to build and grow key, senior-level relationships across multiple accounts
Proven solution selling/consulting experience with complex clients, including the ability to diagnose the impact of trends, client data and MBOs and translate that into rapid sales
Experience working with senior-level account employees, including an ability to immediately establish credibility with executives and build/maintain those relationships
Exceptional written and oral communication skills; familiarity/comfort in public speaking
Ability to drive urgency in the sales cycle and the execution of complex solution strategies
Exceptional ability to manage and execute a robust pipeline
Excellent planning, organization, multi-tasking, prioritization and meeting facilitation skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, manage client expectations
Ability to travel approximately 40%-50%
Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $125,000.00 to $150,000.00. This position is also eligible for our incentive compensation program.
