This is where you and your skills come in. We’re currently looking for: an impact player to join our Public Sector segment driving sales in the Virginia, DC, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and West Virginia territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Focused on State & Local Government, Higher Education and K12 above 400 employees

  • Technology field sales - greenfield space using remote resources (engineering, marketing, business development, etc)

  • Partnering with the regional VAR's to effectively identify, engage and deliver new customers

  • Owning strategy around funnel, pipeline, forecasting - owning GTM for respective patch

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex sales cycles and negotiating win-win agreements based on value-based selling

  • Communication proficiency- PBX, UCaaS, CCaaS, VoIP

  • 15-25% travel in the territory

Desired Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of technology solution-based selling (SaaS, Unified Communications, Cloud applications, VoIP, telephony) at an Enterprise Level

  • Experience selling to State, Local, Higher Education and Healthcare Verticals.

  • Experience with strategies in formal responses for RFP’s, RFI’s, and RFQ’s.

  • Demonstrated sales record of obtaining / exceeding quota.

  • Skilled in conducting presentations, online web demos, adhering and adopting a measured sales process

  • Success prospecting, engaging, acquiring net new logos

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas to others

  • Entrepreneurial flare - ability to learn and adapt quickly

  • Vibrant and energetic attitude, willingness to perform and get things done

  • BS degree, continued training and education preferred

If you are hired in Maryland, the compensation range for this position is between $174,650 and $324,30 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
