Pay Range:

$95,900.00 - $157,700.00

The Sales Specialist for the Western & Cellular Analysis sales team will be responsible for sales of Simple Western and Cellular Analysis instruments and related systems and consumables in the assigned territory. As a Sales Specialist you will develop and execute strategic plans for the portfolio to increase sales and grow market share in the territory. Ā Ā 

This is a field based sales role where you will support customers throughout the Boston/Cambridge territory. Ā 

This position is eligible to receive a commission plan and long-term incentive package of stock grants based on individual and company performance, in accordance with company policy.Ā 

Key Responsibilities:Ā 
ā€¢ Achieve sales targets through application of consultative selling methodsĀ 
ā€¢ Maintain and develop incremental business in existing and new accountsĀ 
ā€¢ Work closely with the full Commercial Team to ensure we provide a coordinated approach to customers and promote all the solutions Bio-Techne can provide.Ā 
ā€¢ Field sales located in the assigned territory and visiting customers 75% of the timeĀ 
ā€¢ Familiar with standard scientific methods, techniques, reagents & equipment relevant to Bio-Techneā€™s product lineĀ 
ā€¢ Provide accurate sales forecasts for both instruments and reagents in the Immunoassay Product LinesĀ 
ā€¢ Use SalesForce.com to manage all active leads, customers, and opportunities. Dashboards will be used to track progress and KPIsĀ 
ā€¢ Plan and execute account management to accomplish goals and follow company visionĀ 
ā€¢ Ensure that customers understand the value proposition, features & benefits, competitive advantages, and applications of all relevant productsĀ 

Job QualificationsĀ 
Education and Experience:Ā 
ā€¢ Bachelorā€™s degree (or advanced) in a science related field required Ā 
ā€¢ Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of sales experience in the Life Science tools space and with 2+ years selling in related market and space.Ā 
ā€¢ High value capital equipment sales experience Ā 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ā 

ā€¢ Understanding of customer workflows and the applications supported in research, development, and production of pharmaceutical drugs and biologics Ā 

ā€¢ Broad understanding of a variety of scientific techniques and research areas of interest (e.g., Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Sequencing, High-Value Capital Equipment)Ā 

ā€¢ Knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, and Salesforce Ā 

ā€¢ Proficiency in executing value-based sales techniques, ā€¦
