Comp range is $56,000-$75,000 plus an uncapped commission with on target earnings of $95,000-$114,000+.
There are approx. 42 million commercial fleet vehicles on the road today, relying on a payment method to get them from point A to point B. Shell Fleet Cards, powered by WEX Inc., offer fleets the payment solution they need, and you’ll be the one to develop those sales and drive growth for this market-leading payment product. Dynamic, results oriented sales professionals are most successful in this role. You are focused on driving high performance results, generating strong leads, prospecting and identifying opportunity. We need a hunter with a strong track record in closing sales! As part of our recently launched Shell field sales team, you’ll be responsible for identifying and winning new accounts on our fleet card programs across your multi-state territory. Between the Shell Fleet Navigator and Shell Fleet Plus cards, you’ll hit your markets with a solution for any fleet’s needs.
How you'll make an impact:
Sales Territory: IL, WI, MI
Regularly meet, and often exceed, your monthly KPIs (net cards, gallons, revenue)
In tandem with your sales manager, develop a strategic plan for attacking your territory; both from a geographic and specific vertical segment perspective
Responsible for self-generating your own leads. WEX will support that effort, but you must be committed to finding your own business opportunities.
Quickly build a robust pipeline of fleet opportunities, and consistently add to it
Maintain accurate records in Salesforce
Partner with your team’s Customer Success Specialist to ensure that accounts are implemented and activated as quickly as possible
Work alongside our partners at Shell to ensure consistency of message within your markets
Be a proactive communicator regarding your work
Demonstrate exceptional discovery and presentation skills through superior product and competitive knowledge
Independent Contributor role with the responsibility of managing your own sales territory
Experience you'll bring:
3-5 years of outside sales experience with proven client acquisition
Demonstrated consistent quota performance in a business-to-business sales environment
Demonstrated ability to sell against the competition
Strong prospect-channel identification, development and qualification skills
High degree of territory management capability
Travel is required, must be comfortable in air/vehicle travel
Must be able to pass a successful background investigation
