JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Subscription Renewals Representative is responsible for achieving sales targets in a defined territory that includes Commvault customers. The Representative will contribute to a developing and hardworking team, which is passionate about completing the Land-Adoption-Expand-Renew journey for accounts. Candidates have an appreciation for the significance of Annual Recurring Revenue, expansion, and associated metrics. 

The candidate will also be an outstanding teammate, as close alignment with field Account Executives and Customer Success Managers is essential to success. The Representative, however, must also close renewal sales opportunities on an independent basis. This is an inside selling position; telephone, video conference and email are the primary modes of customer and partner communication.  

What you’ll do…  

  • Maintain consistent customer engagement throughout the renewal sales cycle. 

  • Ability to hold strategic conversations around the scoping of current and future environments, and selling the value of multi-year subscription renewal options to the customer.

  • Identify and close upsell/cross-sell deals during the renewal engagement; manage opportunities for these transactions. 

  • Coordinate renewal activity with assigned CSM; develop successful working relationship based on vertical alignment. 

  • Excellent ability to navigate difficult negotiations, build a clear path to closure resolution with owners and dates, and secure agreement from internal and external partners to deliver. 

  • Strong organizational skills to ensure early and on-time renewals that properly address the client requirements. 

  • Comfortable providing feedback and crafting new processes with leadership and willing to take risks within goal-oriented framework. 

Who you are…  

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 4 years’ renewal sales or inside sales experience

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic listening skills

  • Sales forecasting experience 

  • Background in IT infrastructure 

  • Remote working experience preferred
