Your Role: Strategic Partnerships GPO National Account Manager, US Pet Health
As a National Account Manager, you’re responsible for key partnerships within the US Pet Health Strategic Partnerships team with an emphasis on executing the strategic business plan.
Your Responsibilities:
Execution of account business plan with account
Responsible for building demand-generating initiatives with account contacts
Management of resources (discounts, rebates, marketing funds, etc.) for partners.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at national and regional GPOs.
Analyze business results and CRM information to assist in product portfolio expansion opportunities within partnerships
Drive member utilization of GPO contracts by working closely with sales teams and marketing to communicate value propositions.
Identify and execution beyond product value strategy
Developing/Managing account plans for key accounts
Conducting Quarterly Business reviews and updates with the accounts executive team
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Required Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in companion animal veterinary pharmaceutical sales.
In-depth knowledge of the companion animal veterinary market and products
In-depth knowledge of the GPO market and industry trends
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
Companion animal strategic account management experience of 1 – 3 years
Ability to influence without authority
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including excellent speaking and presentation skills
Ability to convey messages and motivate various audiences
Experience negotiating deal terms
Additional Information:
Location: US, REMOTE
Travel: > 60%
Elanco currently anticipates that the base salary for this position could range from $103,100 to $185,00 depending partly on the successful candidate’s qualifications, including education and experience. Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending partly on company and individual performance). Additionally, Elanco offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees that includes a company-matching 401(k); vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities). Of course, the compensation is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described above.
