About this role
The DXC Cloud & ITO Sales Professional is an intelligent, consultative seller that can partner with clients to understand key value outcomes that our clients are looking to accomplish. He/She regularly anchors DXC value propositions and sales strategies on strategic solutions that can deliver those client outcomes (i.e., the business and IT transformation objectives). The successful Sales Professional has strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, can navigate and coordinate stakeholders across large enterprises, and can present and position our capabilities with poise and polish to executive client contracts including C-Suite level executives. DXC Cloud & ITO is a significant portfolio in the Americas, with depth and breadth of capabilities that span multiple vendors, partners, and our own IP and Solutions to help clients solve their most complex technology and business problems.
What you will do
- The successful candidate will lead sales efforts and pursuits that can include our entire portfolio of Cloud & ITO Services, including solutions from our entire technology stack portfolio.
- Working side by side with account and industry teams, the successful candidate will lead our most complex Cloud & ITO portfolio sales pursuits to ensure growth targets are achieved.
- They are client relationship experts with a broad network to identify opportunities and grow new relationships within the C-Suite of our enterprise accounts.
- The Sales Professional is responsible for prospecting and nurturing new DXC Cloud & ITO opportunities through the sales funnel, both sourcing new opportunities, while leading and supporting assigned pursuits.
- Leads sales cycle from start to finish for delivery of customized modernization and transformation programs to large and/or challenging clients.
- Meets/exceeds annual targets for an assigned Cloud & ITO offering(s) within a defined territory.
- Works across a territory and/or portfolio to create a market for defined offerings and services, and to qualify and develop opportunities within those markets.
- Engage with pre-sales support and client relationship personnel to drive pipeline of qualified leads across a sales territory and/or portfolio. Engages with the same to qualify leads into opportunities. Executes the standard sale process through to closure.
Who you are
- Experience in Cloud & ITO sales / solutions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferably 10 or more years of business development or sales experience.
- Experience working with the technology services consulting industry.
- Experience with cloud and platform; continuity, hardware and infrastructure; data center; and other infra & platform services.
- Strong track record of sales success, good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients up to the Board level.
- Leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel.
- Ability to lead and work in a team environment and must be able to travel.
