ABOUT THE JOB
OneStream is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sponsorship and Experiential Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing sponsorships, managing vendor relationships, and implementing effective marketing strategies for large-scale live events. This role is crucial in maximizing revenue opportunities and enhancing the overall audience experience for external attendees and sponsors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Sponsorship and Experiential Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue through the sale of event sponsorships and packages. The ideal candidate will work to create innovative sponsorship opportunities, expand sponsorship revenue and work closely with key sponsors & internal business partners to maximize the overall experience and return on investment. Your goal will be to build a strong pipeline of sponsors, achieve sales targets, and enhance the sponsor and audience experience including but not limited to:
Revenue Growth: Drive the growth from existing partner channels and new sponsorship expansions of OneStream’s global flagship and regional corporate event revenue through strategic sponsorship sales
Sponsor Engagement: Present OneStream’s strategic vision and event offerings via email, telephone, and face-to-face meetings to new and existing sponsors.
Experiential Marketing: Responsible for experiential marketing activations at global flagship programs and regional corporate strategic marketing events
Team Collaboration: Work closely with our experiential marketing, event audience acquisition & experience, global alliances, marketing and external sponsors across key flagship and regional corporate marketing events, key sponsorship programs while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and sponsor needs.
- Identify and pursue new sponsorship program opportunities and proactively engage key sponsors and internal stakeholders to solicit feedback
- Lead sponsorship sales presentations and negotiate contracts to close deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing sponsors, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
- Use market insights to inform sales strategies and enhance service offerings.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
- Address sponsorship inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the event management team to integrate key sponsor activations seamlessly across the audience experience and event programming.
Required Education & Experience
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in a B2B sales or event marketing role including lead generation and new business prospecting.
- Ability to pitch ideas confidently to various stakeholders and clients.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An innate ability to connect with people and influence their decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
Preferred Education & Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Seismic, Outreach, Coupa and event management software a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Must be able to demonstrate internal team leadership while employing an entrepreneurial, collaborative, analytical, and results-oriented approach in driving the production of high-quality events that advance revenue, our brand, donor involvement, cultivation, and stewardship.
- High level of humility, integrity, and discretion.
- Results driven.
- Excellent judgment, and creative problem-solving skills, including contract negotiation, dispute resolution, and contingency planning.
- Self-starter, and a team player who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Extremely positive, high energy, “lead-by-example” personality.
- Existing relationships with relevant luxury brands strongly preferred.
- Creative with an ability to "think outside the box" to enhance attendee experience.
- Good crisis management skills and impeccable attention to detail.
- Cross-functional team and process management.
Travel
- ~25-30%, including international travel to regional events and meetings
