Rubrik is seeking a Senior Director of CXO Value Economics & Operations to lead the development, advocacy, and execution of value-based selling across the company’s Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. This leader will drive customer-centric engagement by collaborating closely with sales, customer success, and product teams to quantify and communicate the business impact of Rubrik’s solutions.

The role involves conducting executive-level discovery workshops, crafting strategic Proof of Value presentations, and developing compelling business cases to help enterprise customers understand the ROI of investing in Rubrik’s solutions. Additionally, the Senior Director will spearhead the Transformation team’s operational requirements, refine value-based selling frameworks, and influence key CXO stakeholders.

This individual will also oversee program execution, governance, strategic planning, and operational excellence within the Transformation Office.

What You’ll Do: 

Strategic Value Selling & GTM Enablement:

  • Develop and implement a value-based selling framework to help enterprise customers understand the ROI and TCO of Rubrik solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, and customer success teams to drive customer engagement through business value assessments and Proof of Value (PoV) presentations.
  • Design and execute executive discovery workshops to identify customer business challenges, align solutions, and build multi-year investment roadmaps.
  • Craft high-impact business cases, value models, and financial justification materials to support sales motions and drive deal acceleration.

Customer Engagement & Thought Leadership:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to CXO-level executives, delivering compelling insights into data security economics and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with strategic accounts to quantify the financial impact of Rubrik’s solutions, providing evidence-backed justification for investment.
  • Develop and present industry research, white papers, and executive briefings to elevate Rubrik’s positioning in the market.
  • Represent Rubrik at conferences, industry events, and customer summits to advocate for value-based selling methodologies.

Operational Excellence & Process Optimization:

  • Continuously refine and optimize value-based selling methodologies, tools, and models to improve business outcomes.
  • Partner with customer experience, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment between solution capabilities and customer value narratives.
  • Lead the development of internal tools, training materials, and enablement programs for sales teams to drive the adoption of value-based selling.
  • Develop and drive the operating model and execution strategy for transformation programs, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Lead program governance, including establishing KPIs, OKRs, and tracking performance against transformation goals.
  • Define and monitor success metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to measure impact and inform leadership decisions.

Experience You’ll Need: 

  • 15+ years of experience in GTM strategy, value selling, business consulting, or enterprise sales leadership.
  • Proven track record of driving value-based sales initiatives within a technology or SaaS company.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to engage with CXO-level stakeholders to articulate business value.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, ROI/TCO analysis, and business case development for enterprise solutions.
  • Exceptional ability to drive execution, manage cross-functional teams, and influence executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Knowledge of data security, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT solutions is highly preferred.
  • MBA or equivalent experience in business strategy, economics, or a related field is a plus

This role will elevate Rubrik’s position in the enterprise security market by amplifying the transformational impact of its technology by the world’s leading organizations. By deepening CXO engagement and institutionalizing a framework for capturing and scaling customer transformation initiatives, this position plays a critical role in reinforcing Rubrik’s strategic influence and accelerating business growth.

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US (SF Bay Area, DC Metro, NYC) Pay Range$233,600—$320,300 USDThe minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits.
