The Senior Account Executive’s main goal is to achieve an annual sales target by converting as many opportunities into won business as possible.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and run an analytical account development strategy to identify opportunities to increase Genesys footprint across your install base accounts while also identifying new logos for our Genesys Cloud platform
  • Effectively communicate Genesys strategic vision and unique capabilities to customers, connecting them to the customers business, and sharing a compelling plan on how Genesys can help solve the customer's business challenges
  • You will strategize, mobilize and lead an extended team of Pre Sales Engineers, Field Marketing, Professional Services, Product Management, Customer Success Managers, etc. to ensure customer satisfaction and to identify additional revenue opportunities
  • Responsible for elevating Genesys to a more strategic position by developing client-valued solutions with supporting ROI models to support your customers purchase
  • You will do all of this while maintaining a pipeline that is 3x your quota that ensures your success.  With personal impact and gravitas, you will be comfortable as a trusted advisor for our C-suite customers and executive stakeholders
  • Grow & expand your existing customer's footprint

What we look for and expect from the right individual is:

  • Strong business acumen and a successful track record as an enterprise sales professional
  • A successful track record of introducing complex software solutions across multiple industries
  • Jointly developing account and opportunity plans in a motivated team as a Senior Account Executive
  • Identifying customer/project demands and mapping to the Genesys portfolio
  • Being a team player and a leader of virtual teams, able to orchestrate and win complex sales cycles
  • Taking revenue responsibility and carrying of a sales quota
  • Establishing a reliable network between partners, transformational partners, independent consultants, and technology partners of Genesys to raise the ability to execute and to position Genesys in top management decided projects
  • Reviewing accounts/projects and establishing a framework to create the right strategy to maximize the value of deals and win deals.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar education
  • 10+ years professional and verticalized experience with demonstratable success in verticalized sales, preferably with strong CCaaS, or SaaS background
  • Maximum demands on the quality of your work as well as a high degree of sales and customer orientation
  • Committed, proactive, team-oriented, and stress-tested
  • Self-assured appearance and excellence presentation skills – especially suited for senior/top management level.
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong success and problem-solving orientation
  • Willingness to travel frequently and as required



 

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.  

$94,800.00 - $186,000.00
