OpenShift Sales Specialist

Red Hat is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented OpenShift Sales Specialist to join our Mid-Atlantic Enterprise team. In this role, you will be directly responsible for driving revenue with our OpenShift solution stack (hybrid cloud, containers, Kubernetes, tools and automation, and application development solutions) with our key enterprise accounts. You will work closely with your peers to help our customers understand their business needs and demonstrate how Red Hat can accelerate their business with a cloud-native mindset.

What you will do:

  • Achieve sales targets: Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas for OpenShift.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers within enterprise accounts, including CIOs, CTOs, architects, and developers.

  • Lead cloud and container conversations: Educate customers on the benefits of OpenShift and cloud-native technologies. Position OpenShift as the ideal platform for their cloud-native journey.

  • Develop and execute account plans: Work with your teams to create and implement strategic account plans to identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing accounts.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with pre-sales engineers, solution architects, and other various internal stakeholders to support customer engagements and drive successful deals to closure.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends: Maintain a deep and razor-sharp understanding of the latest cloud computing, containerization, and Kubernetes technologies.

What you will bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in a technical solutions sales role

  • Successful track record in complex solution selling in a technical capacity, specifically around cloud, containers, and cloud management solutions.

  • Passion for open source technology, and a matching "open" mindset

  • Proven ability to work seamlessly with global, cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers

  • Balance of strategic, tactical, and technical, as well as creative thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong work ethic.

This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be part of a high-growth sales team while helping customers by providing real/measurable impact in shaping their future business.

The salary range for this position is $320,600.00 - $544,780.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
