The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new accounts within the transportation and logistics industry. Your primary goal will be to build relationships, understand customer needs, and promote our fleet maintenance solutions to maximize client satisfaction and company revenue. This is a remote position which requires the candidate to be based in the Northeast region and travel up to 75% of the time.

What the Outside Sales Rep role looks like:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential customers in the transportation sector who require fleet maintenance services. Utilize industry contacts, networking, and cold calling to generate leads.
- Client Meetings and Presentations: Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with fleet managers, logistics coordinators, and decision-makers. Present our fleet maintenance services, demonstrate value propositions, and tailor solutions to meet client needs.
- Sales Negotiation and Closing: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations. Provide ongoing support, address inquiries, and resolve any issues to maintain customer retention and loyalty.
- Market Analysis and Strategy: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. Provide insights and feedback to management to refine sales strategies and enhance competitive positioning.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts using CRM software. Prepare regular reports for management on sales performance, opportunities, and challenges.
What our ideal candidate looks like:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in outside sales, with a successful track record in acquiring new business and achieving sales targets.
