The Manager, Campus Interns role is responsible for leading the Higher Education Interns across their geographies
campus, meeting and exceeding sales visit goals through account penetration strategy and direction. This role is
accountable for each intern’s productivity and serves as a leader within the Sales organization. A core expectation of
this role is to drive interdepartmental collaboration and relationship building with new and current Higher Education
customers. This role will develop business relationships with customers and enhance customer loyalty by proving a
superior customer experience. The Manager, Campus Interns will coach and develop a team of interns, typically
between twenty and twenty-five direct reports. This position will proactively work with Sales leadership in territory
planning and identify opportunities for incremental growth.

Key Areas of Responsibility
• Develop sales strategies in tandem with Sales leaders based on sales and market trends
• Enable account penetration through intern’s relationship building and customer-facing meetings
• Collaborate with field sales team to build synergy within both inside and outside sales efforts
• Coach and advise team on strategies to improve meeting quality and lead generation
• Create and implement operating plans to achieve sales initiatives aligned to segment goals
• Hire, train, coach and retain diverse intern team
• Manage strategic relationships with customers, peers and vendor partners

Education and/or Experience Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 years of executing on goals and knowledge of CDW sales, products and processes

• Strong consultative, solution based selling experience
• Effective negotiation and closing skills
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
• Must have strong interpersonal skills
• Strong written, verbal, presentation communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with
coworkers, management, executives, other CDW departments, customers and vendor partners
• Adaptable, ability to lead through change
• Ability to utilize strategic thinking to fulfill long-term company goals
• Excellent time management skills in order to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow up skills
• Ability to share in-depth knowledge of CDW capabilities with customers
• Strong internal and external customer acumen, working with each customer at the highest levels of ethics and
integrity
• Must be able to travel to customer meetings, events and/or other CDW locations

Customer Focus and Quality Management Responsibilities

excellent client service and continual improvement and to conform to these policies and philosophies at all times.
b) During your orientation period, review with your supervisor as needed the department procedures and operating
instructions listed at Connect/Departments/Resources/ISO intranet site that apply to your specific assignment(s) within the
scope of this job position.
c) And after the orientation period to conform to these procedures and instructions, including any reporting (and/or record
keeping) responsibilities.
d) Report any customer problem, or any service outage that may cause potential customer problems to your supervisor.
e) Communicate improvement ideas that you have regarding CDW service quality or customer satisfaction per
established means.

Pay range: $ 64,000- $92,800 depending on experience and skill set

Annual bonus target of $20,000 subject to terms and conditions of plan
