Why it matters: The Enterprise Account Executive will be responsible for driving annual recurring revenue (ARR) within prospective customer accounts in the large enterprise segment. They’ll own the sales process from prospecting to deal closure within these large enterprise organizations. This will include a mix of owning an outbound named account strategy and working inbound enterprise leads.

The details: Ideal candidates will embody an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for Axios HQ’s mission and values - raise the bar, stay curious, be inclusive, always, and champion each other - and have the following skills/experience:

  • 5+ years of B2B software sales experience closing net new business, with the last 2+ years closing enterprise contracts. 
  • Exceptional sales fundamental skills including discovery, storytelling, objection handling, value selling, and navigating a complex process to close business
  • Highly skilled at managing a multi-threaded sales process - involving multiple client stakeholders and decision makers using solution-selling principles and concepts 
  • Self-driven and view themselves as the CEO of their own book of business, taking ownership in all facets of their sales process.
  • Adaptable and able to iterate on their approach to evolve their sales pitch based on the persona or department they are selling to
  • Experience diving in and becoming a subject matter expert on a new technology product
  • Superior presentation skills with the ability to create a compelling business case for a prospective client to buy a new product  
  • Wildly collaborative and motivated to work hard toward lofty individual and team goals
  • Demonstrates strong intrinsic motivation to actively seek feedback and incorporate it into daily sales activities and performance

Don’t forget: 

  • Axios HQ believes in fair and equitable pay. Annual on-target earnings for this role is in the range of $175,000-$220,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills.
