Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Cloud Project Technical Lead Associate to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will carry out strategic plans, supports business initiatives and works with new and existing customers to support customer Cloud initiatives and projects.

 

This position is 100% remote. 

 

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintains positive relationships with key client/partner/stakeholders.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of client business needs and work with key decision-making partners to manage delivery of technical resources.
  • Build the overall client relationship in existing projects understanding requirements, delivering presentations and tracking technical resources/decisions.
  • Direct technical delivery of projects in defined area.
  • Ensuring projects are completed at or ahead of schedule, costs are managed to budget, and customer expectations are exceeded.
  • May evaluate and assess new projects based upon size, complexity, percent of participation and time frame.
  • Select and assign appropriate project leader and team member(s).
  • Communicate with customers to assess customer satisfaction level with services and support. Participates in direct customer support as necessary.
  • Discuss and sell consulting services, discusses project planning and issues with customers.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 6 years experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) clearance.
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud applications, project coordination, or cloud service management.

     

  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

     

  • Excellent customer service and client engagement skills.

     

  • Ability to apply cloud technologies and consulting to solve business challenges.

     

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and business stakeholders.

     

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical concepts with confidence.

     

  • Demonstrates the use of consulting skills, including questioning, listening, idea development, and influencing.

     

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting cloud-based solutions.

     

  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.

     

  • Ability to document project details, technical reports, and status updates effectively.

     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferred).

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. Apply
