Overview

Cotiviti is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Client Executive (CE) who is motivated to support the transformation and improvement of our nation’s healthcare system through the use of healthcare analytics and consumer engagement.

The CE role is a critical, client-advocate position with both internal- and external-facing responsibilities. The CE is assigned ownership of an existing set of accounts and is responsible for understanding how the client is using our solutions and helping them maximize the potential of our tools. The CE owns client communications, support, satisfaction and retention. The CE works internally as a client advocate, collaborating with data operations, project management, product, consulting, finance, legal and client services, in order to ensure execution of our service agreements as well as to ultimately help our clients realize value from our solutions. In addition to overseeing day-to-day satisfaction, the CE develops and implements a strategic plan to help the clients realize increasingly greater value from our solutions which may include cross/up-selling of product features and consulting projects.

The Client Executives are managed by a deeply experienced Account Management leadership team and the CE position offers tremendous growth and learning opportunities. Cotiviti is a dynamic, growing healthcare analytics company and our clients include most of the nation’s health insurance plans as well as prominent employers, provider organizations and health benefits brokers. Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop and maintain manager, director and executive-level relationships at client organizations (payers, providers, employers, brokers). Build rapport through day-to-day account management, consultative advising and creative relationship building.
  • Work cross-functionally internally to see that Cotiviti is meeting and exceeding our commitments to our clients on execution and value delivered. Assist with project management and facilitation of implementations, operations and troubleshooting / issues resolution that may be required.
  • Lead strategic account planning sessions internally and develop presentations for the clients that summarize realized value, new offerings and additional opportunities.
  • Create opportunities to involve other Cotiviti personnel to interact with the account - including executive, clinical operations, product and other functions.
  • Lead renewal process for assigned accounts including negotiation and closure of renewal contracts.
  • Drive referenceability in customer base - ensuring that each customer is willing/able to support sales processes through on-site or telephonic references.
  • Identify opportunities for customer success stories, presentations, and PR, as appropriate.
  • Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
  • Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent.
  • Proven client relationship/account management skills and ability to be viewed as a trusted advisor. A minimum of 2-3 years client management, account management, consulting or business development / sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify needs or opportunities then research and develop proposals based on review and analysis of contracts, product offerings, operations, and an understanding of clients’ needs.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years healthcare industry experience desired (e.g. healthcare data analytics; health plan or third party administrator; insurance / health benefits broker; health benefits administration at an employer; healthcare software; care management, case management or utilization management services; provider side experience (hospital system, medical practice, dental practice, home care, hospice, etc.); pharmaceuticals or medical devices; government healthcare programs; healthcare policy, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think strategically.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Outstanding presentation, communication skills (verbal & written) and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Ability to lead cross functional internal teams to execute on complex tasks in a growing and changing environment.
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook a must.
  • Willingness/availability to travel up to 10-25% is required

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • No adverse environmental conditions expected.

Base compensation ranges from $86,000 to $120,500. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

 

This role is eligible for commission.
