We are currently seeking a Cell Health Business Development Specialist who will be responsible for developing, owning and executing territory sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets for Beckman Coulters Cell Health hardware & reagent portfolio in the Western Territory.

This position reports to the Global Business Development Leader and is part of the Beckman Coulter Life Sciences organization. The individual selected for this role will be working remotely to cover the western United States and will be based in California.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and presenting technical proposals, including workflow & solution recommendations through participation in customer meetings, technical conferences, trade shows, publications, seminars, and symposiums

  • Coordinating product demonstrations and evaluations to showcase BECLS Cell Health solutions portfolio and drive customer decision-making

  • Driving sales by combining technical expertise with ROI-focused value propositions to build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, including R&D, and procurement professionals

  • Negotiating pricing strategies to align with customer and revenue targets

  • Collecting, reporting & managing customer VOC & pipeline information within the assigned territory on company CRM to understand industry trends, competitor activities, customer needs & drive product strategy.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Undergraduate degree in biotechnology/biosciences/bioanalytical science or a related field; Masters or PhD preferred in biotechnology/biosciences/bioanalytical science or a related field preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer facing account management, sales or FAS role in the bioprocessing, biopharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries

  • Proven track record of developing and managing customer relationships through successful consultative & technical engagement to exceed growth & revenue targets.

  • Strong background in driving business growth through strategic planning and execution while managing complex negotiations to achieve balanced outcomes that serve both customer and business needs

  • Entrepreneurial, energetic self-motivated individual with a results-oriented mindset

The salary range for this role is $100,000- $125,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
