Caption Care is a turnkey, end-to-end echo program that leverages Caption AI technology platform to deliver convenient, cost-effective echocardiograms in any care setting to identify heart disease earlier—before undiagnosed issues become serious.

The VP of Sales grows revenue by leveraging the sales infrastructure to build Caption Care’s client base and is responsible for the overall direction of the US sales team. This role owns account management, sales enablement, partnerships, and sales operations and sells directly to senior leaders with a primary focus on Value Based Care organizations. This position reports into the GM, Caption Care.

Job Description

In this role you will:

  • Meet quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • While building the pipeline, identify and close new business.
  • Execute on a comprehensive GTM plan by market/segment including business model development and pricing strategy.
  • Develop overarching sales strategy and short/mid/long term market plan of attack mapped to goals (with tactics and timeline to achieve).
  • Gather data on competition/market and make plans for geographical development.
  • Provide transparent and consistent management input and reporting on the status of the business (results, barriers, pivots, etc.) to leadership team.
  • Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly metrics and data requirements associated with US Market Pipeline Management to the GM.
  • Approximately 50% travel to client sites and industry events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
     

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Direct and monitor sales activities and revenue generation of the US Markets team.
  • Manage the HR activities associated with recruiting and filling new roles within the US Markets team.
  • Build strong relationships with your team members, understanding their motivations, encouraging continuous learning, and creating career development plans to help them succeed.
  • Model company vision/values through focus on execution and quality; maintain and foster inclusive, transparent, and supportive environment to promote collaboration & innovation.
     

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience selling enterprise solutions. 5+ years of healthcare industry experience is required.
  • Hans on selling, along with people leadership in this role. Will be managing 3 people.
  • An established network, successful track-record, and deep domain expertise selling B2B SaaS-based solutions key accounts including IDN's, VBC's, ACO's, CIN's and Group Practices. Experience with National Health Plans, Blue Cross plans, regional plans and Health Systems throughout the US with an understanding of payer policies, enrollment, reimbursement, and benefit design.
  • Proven experience building, managing, tracking, and executing upon a sales pipeline of prospects.
  • Strong understanding of and ability to communicate with executives and hands-on benefits professionals about medical terminology, disease states, clinical pathways, gaps in care, etc.
  • Ability to discuss past and ongoing academic research efforts with medical directors, clinical staff, and business leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 or similar software.
  • 50% travel to client sites and events

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $126,480.00-$189,720.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
