At Salesloft, the Vice President, Renewals is pivotal to our company’s success.  Reporting to the CRO, you will be a key member of our revenue leadership team leading the renewals organization. We believe that the most successful leaders are passionate about developing the team and the customers they serve.

In addition to working with amazing colleagues, you will be responsible for developing the vision, strategy, and execution methodology of the renewals organization. And play a critical role in driving Salesloft’s growth. 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a results-oriented, motivated, and strategic executive skilled in implementing renewal and retention programs that maximize customer value. 

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsibilities include:

  • Managing the renewal leaders and their teams
  • Forecasting renewals, including risks and mitigation strategies 
  • Leveraging data to recognize patterns and spot opportunities to improve customer value and renewal rates 
  • Create effective processes to improve renewal results and consistency
  • Be a thought leader and subject matter expert on SaaS renewals, customer retention and creating durable customer relationships

Salesloft’s Sales Leadership team is tight-knit, collaborative, and works closely together to achieve success. Overall, our team is comprised of experienced Salespeople who are passionate about the teams we lead, our product and, above all, our customers. We support our teams, and are consistently in the weeds with them, ensuring each member gets the training, coaching, tools, and mentorship they need to grow and be successful.

THE SKILL SET:

  • 10+ years of renewals/account management/sales experience
  • 7+ years of management experience with experience achieving revenue goals focused on the renewals team and leaders.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding revenue targets
  • Ability to engage and present to senior leadership
  • Experience coaching and developing teams
  • Expertise in negotiating a wide range of complex contracts and legal discussions with a focus on creating win/win options for customers.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with demonstrated ability to build internal partnerships and gain buy-in. Building synergy between renewals & sales.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a huge plus, Salesloft is a big bonus.

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Attend Salesloft’s New Hire Orientation, where you will learn our Salesloft story and understand what makes our “lofters” unique
  • Complete all required training by the due dates specified
  • Understand the skills and responsibilities of your immediate team members
  • Meet with your entire team and listen to what is working and not working in the organization
  • Meet with your counterparts and Business stakeholders to gain insights and expectations on the role
  • Know the product, value prop for our customers, buyer personas, and competitive differentiators
  • Create a 90-day plan

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Be familiar with how we measure success
  • Determine the priorities for your organization and develop a roadmap for the next 12 months
  • Implement changes in the organization that is necessary to get to the next level of the business
  • Drive the team to execute against plan
  • Drive a results-driven culture and ensure that teams are held accountable
  • Consistently meet or exceed your targets

WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

  • Continue to drive the team to execute against plan
  • Continue to identify improvement opportunities
  • Seen as a critical Senior leader in the Revenue Organization
  • Build a roadmap for the following year

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.

The total compensation package for this position may also include performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
