Overview:

SonicWall, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales Operations and Channel Operations to lead our efforts in optimizing and scaling our sales and channel operations. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for driving sales efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity by overseeing all sales operations functions, including enablement of selling through resellers and Managed Service Providers (MSPs). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enabling channel organizations, deep knowledge of sales KPIs, processes, and technology stacks, and has experience as a channel manager or within a partner organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales operations strategy that supports the company's overall sales goals and objectives.
    • Lead and mentor the sales operations and channel operations teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
    • Data discovery and leadership – measuring leading indicators, improving access to the right data and improving predictability, while creating new levels of efficiency and effectiveness in the GTM and sales organizations.

    • Design and execute programs to enable channel partners, including resellers and MSPs, to effectively sell and support our products and services.
    • Collaborate with channel leadership to identify opportunities for partner growth and development.
    • Create and manage partner incentive programs to drive channel sales performance.
  4. Sales Operations Management:
    • Oversee the development and implementation of sales processes and methodologies to drive consistency and efficiency across the sales organization.
    • Monitor and analyze sales KPIs to identify areas for improvement and to ensure the achievement of sales targets.
    • Manage the sales technology stack, ensuring tools and systems are optimized to support the sales team's needs.
