Technical Sales Specialist-Remote/ Seattle, WA

Sartorius is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to join our growing team in the Seattle Area- covering primarily the Pacific Northwest and East Bay (other areas of the geography include NV). This position is for the Biologics portfolio, covering the Octet and iQue product lines.
Candidate must be based in the Seattle Area.
What you will accomplish together with us:
- Your responsibilities include achieving sales and profit goals within a region.
- You will promote and sell the organization's scientific instruments and service within the assigned Pacific Northwest and East Bay region, product range or key account to achieve sales and revenue target.
- In this role, you will maintain and expand customer base to include key customers and identifying new customer opportunities.
- You will work closely with cross functional team to create higher market perception and successful strategies to gain business from an account.
- One of your duties will be to coordinate and participate in marketing activities in assigned territory.
- You will manage and build strong customer relationships for long term partnership.
- Your duties include managing weekly field activities to generate and close opportunities within the assigned territory.
- You will provide weekly updates of quarterly and yearly forecast models.
- Management of CRM data input and weekly metrics.
- Direct interaction with customers to promote products and brand.
- Maintain a monthly/ quarterly expense budget and ensures territory is operating within budget.
- Travel as required within territory.
- Some overnight travel will be required.
What will convince us:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in capital equipment sales, biotechnology or technical equipment scientific sales.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of sales/business development in the Life Sciences sector.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in negotiating pricing and terms (formal sales training SPIN, Miller Heiman/Blue sheet training a plus)
- Experience in Funnel Management, Forecasting & prospecting (experience with Salesforce, Tableau, LinkedIn Navigator, ZOOM info a plus)
- Good teamwork skills- ability to work with cross functional sales teams
