Supervisor, Account Management

Serves and leads others who serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between assigned clients and Assurant support teams. Organizes and coordinates activities – aligned to an annual plan - that support maintaining and expanding existing client relationships in a manner beneficial to Assurant and its clients.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Leads others and/or directly carries out execution of key initiatives to promote revenue growth and engagement with the existing client base.
Develops and cultivates relationships with key clients to ensure the stability of existing business, managing all day-to-day interactions and client needs.
Contributes to development of annual Assurant business plans; key contributor to client business reviews to ensure metrics and mutual revenue goals are being met.
Guides execution of contracts for mid-level clients that are new, extensions, or renewal according to what is best for the company.
Service utilization at the client level.
May lead the prioritization and implementation of client projects in collaboration with appropriate internal cross-functional teams, including new client installs, new product installs, or new service installs.
Supports resolution of client issues in collaboration with cross-functional area leaders.
Mentor Account Executives at all levels.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
BS/BA Degree
3 or more years of interacting with mid-sized clients and developing strategic relationships
A minimum of 1 year experience directly or indirectly leading the work of others
Direct or indirect people leadership / supervision
Ability to drive execution of initiatives and tasks
Business / financial literacy
Strong written and verbal communication skills (effective pitching to mid-level leaders)
Developing industry knowledge
Effectively cultivate relationships
Strong Organizational skills

Business/Financial acumen
Business software acumen (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.)

Pay Range:
$86,000.00 - $143,700.00Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
