Strategic Account Manager (West)

Symmetrio is currently recruiting for a Strategic Account Executive for our customer, a leading multi-national medical equipment company. As a Strategic Account Executive, you'll drive sales and growth by targeting large national and regional healthcare accounts (IDNs). Your focus will be building strong relationships with key decision-makers, increasing market share, and executing strategic sales initiatives.
This role covers territories across the Western United States, requiring residency near a major airport within the territory. The position offers a competitive compensation package of $130,000–$150,000, plus a 50% performance-based bonus. Travel expectations range from 50% to 70%.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with executives and decision-makers at major IDNs and hospitals.
- Lead sales efforts to expand market presence and secure new contracts.
- Support regional sales teams and drive revenue growth.
- Identify customer needs, pain points, and competitive opportunities.
- Manage sales processes, including proposals, presentations, and negotiations.
- Stay updated on healthcare industry trends and competitor strategies.
- Maintain sales data in Salesforce and create reports as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 10+ years of successful sales experience, including 8+ years in complex capital sales in healthcare.
- 3+ years of experience in IDN/executive-level sales.
- Strong project management and strategic sales planning skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, with strong business acumen.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willing to travel overnight (50-75% within the U.S.).
