What you'll do here:
The Sr Sales Operations Business Analyst seeks, develops, and helps implement critical initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity for the sales organization through data analysis. The Business Analyst develops standard methodologies for data collection, effectively analyzes business problems, identifies key issues and opportunities, and develops strategic recommendations to enhance sales channel organizational efficiency and profitability. The Business Analyst works cross-functionally with stakeholders to gather and assess business processes and data, and to find opportunities for process optimization. This role reports directly to the Director, Sales Operations and Enablement.
- Develops and publishes reporting and analytics, implements a validation process, and provides user-friendly outputs for Channel Sales to ensure the goals are met. Helps effort to increase reporting efficiency and effectiveness, including documentation, project plan, and communication. Trains team members on reporting tools.
- Completes reporting of performance indicators for Sales leadership team, including analysis of performance metrics to help management evaluate success of business development, account management, and sales operations team initiatives.
- Analyzes data models to deliver logical conclusions based on data within existing platforms (Salesforce, Power BI, internal tools like the Admin Tools, etc.)
- Performs ad hoc reporting and analysis to support the sales teams. Builds data visualizations that provide relevant insight into large and complex datasets.
- Gains an in-depth understanding of critical business requirements, finds opportunities for process and sales structure improvement and optimization, and makes recommendations for enhanced business efficiency and revenue generation.
