Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to Lean PD processes.
Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the position holder will have primary responsibility for delivery of a series of Product Development Projects within the ADMs Business Units. This role with TE will drive the successful performance of multiple high profile/value projects following defined methods and processes to achieve commercial and efficiency targets set by the business.
Responsibility:
Developing relationships and maintaining a high-level of communication with cross-functional global teams will be critical to the role. You will be required to act as the primary owner of each project and report progress to a senior leadership team on a regular cadence and at specific key Milestones during each Project.
The role is open to remote working, but proximity to a TE site for on-boarding and, when required, in-person work is preferred. There is also the option of full time on-site or hybrid remote and on-site working.
Travel:
• Domestic Travel is possible up to 25% of the time. Proximity to the TE site in Fairview, N.C. has the potential to reduce this value.
• Global Travel is possible up to 10% of the time (when customers and restrictions allow)
The typical activities of the position will cover:
• All aspects of Project Management from project inception to completion
• Risk Management and leadership of Risk Assessment activities
• Development of the Project Business Case along with the Business Office
• Defining all necessary requirements for the Product(s) being developed by the project.
• Reporting on Project status and being accountable for project progress against the Plan
• Escalation of issues as applicable and utilization of project change controls
• Working with global multi-disciplinary teams to engineer and manufacture products in a regulated environment
• Managing and being accountable for a project budget, liaising with procurement to ensure timely acquisition of goods and materials
• Liaising with customers and suppliers globally
What your background should look like:
The ideal candidate will have five or more years proven experience of leadership over multiple contiguous projects including those within a regulated field, Aerospace and Defense is preferred. They will have a track record of successful delivery of customer facing product development projects following a Stage Gate process product development / manufacturing environment. Project Management Professional certification is preferred.

• A professional level of business acumen and good commercial understanding
• Excellent organizational, time management and administrative skills
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to disseminate critical information appropriately
• Agile Project Management experience, especially Aglie/Waterfall combined projects is preferred, but not essential.
• Good level of IT capability with detailed experience of Microsoft Office (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Flexibility and a willingness to travel
• Bachelor Degree/ experience related to in a similar industry would be beneficial
• 7-10 years prior Project Management experience.
• Leading New Product Development

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $116,600-$174,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
