Summary:
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of providers who subscribe to Provista and Vizient programs and develop expertise on how each individual provider can best utilize these programs. You will utilize your customer service and sales skills to manage your assigned portfolios and to identify areas for growth and expansion and to achieve individual and team sales goals.
Responsibilities:
Retain and grow existing accounts by identifying areas where the Provista and Vizient programs can be most beneficial.
Maximize contract utilization for existing clients by identifying areas for improvement and expansion through field and phone based sales.
Develop and implement sales initiatives within defined territory.
Manage relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and vendors.
Conduct business reviews and attend strategic planning meetings with key stakeholders to promote Provista and Vizient programs.
Collaborate with supply partners to conduct joint sales calls to identify potential cost saving opportunities.
Maintain all sales activity within Salesforce.
Qualifications:
Relevant Degree preferred.
5 or more years of relevant experience in sales and/or account management role required.
Knowledge of GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) and supply chain required.
Sales pipeline development and management through CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) or Salesforce Required.
Ambulatory, med-surge, and non-acute pharmacy experience preferred.
Must have strong analytical, customer service, presentation, and consultative selling skills and work effectively with C-suites.
Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.
