Specialty Health & Science Representative - Neurology
JOB SUMMARY:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing business relationships with customers, achieving, or surpassing yearly sales objectives, implementing marketing strategies and covering targeted Neurologist, GPs, and other health care customers (nurses, pharmacists, business managers) in their respective territory.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver effective, targeted, customer focused calls on Neurologists, GPs, Nurses, Pharmacists, and other key local stakeholders while developing and maintaining long-term relationships, both from a product detailing and from an account management perspective.
Identify patient flow cycles and business cycles in their territories, develop plans to address both (deliver the science as well as securing the business) which entails detailing, account planning and account management.
Maintain an in-depth and sophisticated knowledge of disease state and product that enables them to engage in meaningful dialog, build credibility and add value when calling on customers.
Involve key cross functional team members into planning and execution of business objectives.
Attend congresses including coordinating and executing CME programs.
Provide regular reports on progression of activities and performance.
Demonstrate Pfizer Values and Leader Behaviors, including adherence to Pfizer policy and procedure as well as the Rx&D code and guidelines.
Identifies and reports adverse events and product complaints as per corporate procedure, including Your Reporting Responsibilities (YRR) training.
Leverage technology and omnichannel resources to engage with clients using the appropriate platform to meet the needs of the customer.
The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:
The selected candidate will exhibit strong customer-focused selling skills relating to pharmaceutical products and vaccines.
The candidate will also possess a strong scientific foundation and excellent communication and presentation/coaching skills.
He/she will have to show a proven past record of performance for achieving and surpassing territory sales objectives.
In addition, the candidate will show strong initiative with a positive and constructive approach to overcome challenges, be a strong team player who is highly organized, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
The candidate will have a university degree in Science and/or Business along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Specialty experience in Neurology will be an asset.
