The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

RTX Platform Services team has an opening for a Software Release Manager (Principal Specialist, Business Systems and Transformation) that aids in ensuring the team is successful in all production change and deployment automation requests. Remote Opportunity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead coordination aspects of making production changes that include prepare and maintain monthly release cycle schedules.
  • Lead the production Change Control Board (CCB).
  • Prepare relevant materials, collect and report metrics.
  • Ensure documentation is in place for Sarbanes-Oxley (SoX) audit.
  • Act as a facilitator for a daily standup on release automation related activities.
  • Additional release automation activities such as service account management and assist others in working through issues. 
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed.

QUALFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Typically 8+ years’ in the digital technology arena around production change and automation requests and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination or related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 5+ years’ related work experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience with one or more source code management tools (Git, Subversion, Team Foundation Server)
  • 2+ years’ experience with ticketing systems such as JIRA
  • Current U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
