Senior Sales Operations Manager

Exterro is seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Sales Operations Manager to support our growing SaaS sales team. This role is responsible for optimizing sales processes, managing CRM and sales tools, analyzing sales data, and ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success teams. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by improving sales efficiency, forecasting, and reporting.
Role and Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
• Contribute to the development of sales strategies and tactics by providing data-driven insights and recommendations
Sales Analytics & Reporting:
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key sales metrics, including pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue trends.
• Provide data-driven insights and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Monitor sales performance and create reports for leadership to identify areas for improvement.
Sales Process Optimization:
• Design, implement, and improve sales processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Identify bottlenecks and provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to optimize lead qualification, pipeline management, and deal closing strategies.
CRM & Sales Tools Management:
• Manage and optimize the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to ensure accurate data tracking and reporting.
• Train sales team members on CRM best practices and ensure data integrity.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with marketing to ensure lead handoff processes are efficient and optimized.
• Partner with finance to align on revenue recognition, sales compensation, and forecasting.
• Collaborate with customer success to improve customer onboarding and retention strategies.
Sales Forecasting & Territory Planning:
• Assist in sales territory planning and quota allocation.
• Support revenue forecasting by analyzing historical trends and market conditions.
• Ensure sales targets are realistic, data-backed, and aligned with business goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
• 3-7 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or a similar role in a SaaS environment.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
• Knowledge of sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPIC).
• Experience with sales automation tools, lead scoring, and pipeline management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in high-growth SaaS companies.
• Familiarity with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools and sales compensation software.
• SQL knowledge or experience with business intelligence tools.

As a remote first organization, our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base salary range for this remote position is $100,000-$125,000 per year, based on skills, experience and qualifications. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Exterro is a total compensation company, and this role may be eligible for variable pay, equity, bonus and/or other forms of compensation as part of the package.
