This position is responsible for managing dedicated team(s) to support select Mega clients. This will include managing a team that provides guidance, advice, professional account management (MTR), financial wellness and financial planning. It encompasses all services that support first dollar in to last dollar out solutions for participants – including distributions into or out of plans, saving, investing, consolidating and investing in additional products or services based on the participant’s needs. 

 

What you will do: 

  • Build and maintain a sales culture focused on Empower’s company values, productivity, effectiveness and customer outcomes. 
  • Lead team meetings, implementing morale building programs, assisting in training and interact with other departments to implement enhancements and/or changes impacting the internal or external customer experience. 
  • Lead a team of highly experienced and registered representatives dedicated to providing premier service to our Mega clients through Empower’s RSG team. 
  • Coordinate and collaborate across departments including LMN team, Customer Care Center, and RSG teams to align service delivery and best practices. 
  • Monitor team performance, providing regular coaching, feedback, and appraisals to improve morale and enhance outcomes. 
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain service and outcome standards to enhance experience of each caller and increase impact rates. 
  • Act as the principal for assigned representatives, ensuring compliance through regular audits, supervision, documentation, and resolution of escalated participant issues.  
  • Identify trends in escalated issues and proactively addresses with staff. 
  • Functions included in this team: My Total Retirement (managed accounts), rollover into plan options, optimized investment allocation and savings amounts, financial planning, general financial wellness, health savings accounts (HSAs), distribution options and additional products/solutions aligned with the customer’s needs. 
  • Coaches, writes and delivers effective performance feedback and appraisals for all team members, addresses any team performance issues, tracks team members' attendance and leave schedules. 
  • Maintain appropriate headcount targets and retention of Consultants through hiring, recognition and promotions. 
  • Support the ongoing editing of existing content and creations of new guidelines and sales material for Retirement Consultants. 
  • Drive operational excellence by addressing and reducing errors and escalations. 
  • Instill a culture of coaching and consistent feedback, while supporting individual goals, projects and company meetings as necessary. 

  

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience. 

  • FINRA Series 7, 63, 65 and 24 registrations required

  • FINRA fingerprinting required 

  • 3-5 years of leadership experience 

  • 2-4 years demonstrated success in financial services and relatable sales experience

  • Networks cross-functionally, encouraging and facilitating communications and best practice sharing within and across individuals, team, departments and/or sites. 

  • Openly and genuinely gives credit to other and actively showcases success stories; refrains from creating silos or speaking as us vs. them ; avoids blaming, and models personal accountability 

  • Excellent written, verbal, consulting and presentation skills 

  • Manages resources, priorities, sets goals and objectives; develops performance expectations 

  • Proficient knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel,  

  • PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and various file manipulation skills on a PC

Base Salary Range

$94,500.00 - $115,500.00

The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
