The Senior Director, Strategic Accounts will manage a book of highly engaged enterprise multifamily management, ownership and investment firms that commit to bringing peace of mind to the renters and owners they represent.
Your clients include some of the largest real estate owners in the world with billions in AUM. You will be responsible for building excellent relationships with organizations that have large-scale, multi market portfolios looking to reduce bad debt and increase occupancy while giving more opportunities to renters through close account management and ongoing client engagement strategies. You will also represent TheGuarantors nationally at trade shows and on panels, speaking to the need for lower barriers to entry and more efficient mitigators in the multifamily real estate space.
Here's what you’ll be doing:
- Within the first 12 months, establish four new relationships with NMHC Top 50 property managers or owners that result in a master services agreement (full-company buy-in)
- Prospect assertively and nurture partners through various stages of engagement, moving them from Pilot to Preferred to Exclusive partnerships.
- Grow existing NMHC Top 50 relationships through tactical, well-structured account management; engage property management executives at the nation's leading companies.
- Uncover new and additional product opportunities by taking a consultative approach to investigating a company's needs and goals.
- Foster accounts that deliver profitable applicant referrals through a clear explanation of underwriting constraints and conscientious coverage levels.
- Drive key partners and prospects to participate in a variety of events by collaborating closely with the Events Marketing Manager.
- Forecast against quarterly goals and OKRs by closely monitoring individual and account metrics/performance.
- Track data and conversion rates to understand trends by program, market, portfolio, etc.
- Attend industry events and assist the Events Marketing Manager in event plans including but not limited to giveaways, breakout networking opportunities & speaking engagements.
- Quarterback territory AEs to carry out the program plans you put in place at the corporate level.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all activity in HubSpot.
- Travel regularly (approx. one week every month) meeting potential and current partners.
Things that should be in your background:
- You are passionate about bringing peace of mind to leasing. Your love for helping and improving real estate operations and the industry as a whole is apparent in every interaction you have in the workplace.
- You are a careful listener and can translate the needs of partners into opportunities to use theGuarantors’ suite of products.
- You are a stellar relationship manager and follow account management best practices. This should include a track record of building excellent client relationships with property operations and C Level decision-makers and professionals in the multifamily industry.
- You are a tough negotiator and can balance the needs of a client and the needs of our org at large to strike profitable agreements.
- You are organized and detail oriented. You take CRM diligence seriously and keep timely records of all external activity.
- You are comfortable working in a start-up environment and understand how to navigate regular program changes. You can communicate the new value derived from program changes to clients
Other attributes which will help you in this role:
- You have been in the multifamily real estate space for at least 7 years and have a wealth of knowledge in its inner workings.
- You bring multiyear industry relationships to whatever role you take in multifamily real estate.
Compensation
- OTE $190,000 - $250,000 (salary + bonus)
