Senior Customer Success Specialist

  • This is a Hybrid position requiring 3 days/week in a UL office.
  • Develops the client relationship by demonstrating product/service features beyond central functionality to help the customer achieve specific business results and maximum value from the product(s).
  • Uses demonstrated expertise to recommend specific solutions to achieve customers desired result.
  • Ensure client account satisfaction by responding to client sensitive and urgent issues and handling complex objections.
  • Meet with prospects to identify and qualify their needs including understanding decision makers, delivery timeframe, budget status, challenge and pain points, and competition status.
  • Provides value propositions to clients, prepares quotes or reviews quotes prepared by others, and closes sales by assisting Account Ownership roles by getting prospects commitment with little or no supervision.
  • Coaches and mentors lower-level staff on effective direct sales skills and sales processes.

  • Total Rewards: The target annual pay range for this position is $101,250. - 121,500. which includes a base salary of $75,000. - $90,000. and 100% on target performance. Members of the sales function are eligible to participate in the UL Solutions Sales Incentive Plan. The annual target incentive for this position is 35% of the base salary, paid quarterly, and is contingent upon performance.

  • Bachelors Degree 
  • 5 years or more of related experience or demonstrated competency.
  • Previous, documented B2B Sales Experience and/or Customer Success Specialist (CSS) supporting Software customers a Must.  Must be comfortable making multiple, daily phone calls with customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute projects to stated objectives. 
  • In-depth knowledge of objectives, processes, and procedures of the applicable subunit(s) of the organization. 
  • In-depth understanding of company's products and services.
  • Minimal business travel required.
