Red Hat Experience Engineering (XE) is looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing AI & Data team. In this role, you will serve as the project owner for a portfolio of AI Solutions delivered within our internal and customer-facing Support functions. You’ll need to have a dynamic and detail-oriented personality to understand and map out requirements that solve business problems and customer problems with AI. You’ll play an important role in documentation, project planning and strategic analysis support.

This position will work closely with our AI and Data engineering team to guide delivery of new solutions and maintenance of existing implementations. You will also work cross-functionally with program owners, project managers and business analysts within our team and across Red Hat. This role would ideally suit a person who has a background with excellent analytical, business, technical and communication skills who can help our team deliver measurable impact efficiently.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify, create, and facilitate changes by conducting business and process analysis at a complex level, focusing on quality deliverables and data management

  • Act as liaison between technical and non-technical groups, creating clarity on requirements and next steps

  • Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new solutions

  • Analyze and guide maintenance and improvement to the performance of existing solutions in production

  • Define the scope of an actionable project in cooperation with key stakeholders

  • Convey new technology innovation requirements to internal teams responsible for delivery of those services

  • Produce advanced presentations and technical documentation for an audience consisting of associates across various functions and levels of the business

  • Partner with our data analytics team to measure the impact and efficacy of our solutions

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or management or engineering

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst

  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Broad business and technical knowledge, with the business acumen required to connect people, processes and tools to achieve business goals

  • Motivated and highly organized

  • Ability to influence, persuade with data, and deliver in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent documentation skills using Google suite products like Sheets and Docs 

  • Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous work streams

  • Ability to prioritize tasks within a project to maximize efficiency

  • Process-motivated; skilled in producing use cases, wireframes, functional and technical requirements, gap analysis, and root cause analysis

  • Solid written and verbal communication and negotiation skills and the ability to persuade stakeholders at all levels

  • Ability to communicate complex system and process issues in simple and understandable terms and to use this knowledge to deliver analysis to support strategic decisions

  • Excellent presentation skills in both creation and delivery

  • Experience with tools like Tableau and JIRA

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of and/or experience with Artificial Intelligence solution development, terms, and concepts is preferred

  • Experience working with or certification of the following methodologies is a plus: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)

The salary range for this position is $83,840.00 - $134,150.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
