Senior Business Development Executive

Pix4D is seeking a Sr. Business Development Executive to be based in either Arkansas, California, Colorado, New York or Oregon (if you are based in Colorado a hybrid work policy will apply, for the other states it will be remote). You will focus on developing new business and closing sales for our Catch RTK product, and supporting software and hardware products. 

You will work closely with the North America (NORAM) Regional Sales Manager and senior technical staff to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for targeted sectors in the United States and Canada. You will work closely with our sales teams to nurture current opportunities and bring them to close. You must also conduct and successfully execute outbound sales activities including cold/warm calls, cold emailing, LinkedIn and social media outreach etc, to create your own sales pipeline.

You will work closely with the NORAM and Global Sales Operations team to build outreach strategies and analytical processes to measure the success of outbound sales activities. You will work with the Marketing team to architect digital marketing campaigns, organize webinars, and other initiatives to generate demand for Catch RTK in the U.S. in Canada.

An important part of the role is collaboration with the teams located in Pix4D headquarters in Switzerland as well as regional offices in other European countries. 

You would be a perfect fit for the job if you have a positive track record of developing new business for cutting edge and novel technologies, ample experience with building and managing your own sales pipeline through outbound sales activities, and nurturing and closing deals with 3-6 month sales cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential clients/customers through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, industry conferences, and online research.
  • Generate leads and qualify them based on PIX4D’s ideal customer profile and target market.
  • Bring deals from the prospect stage to close.
  • Experience building and executing go-to-market strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients/customers to understand their needs, preferences, and pain points.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients/customers to close deals and secure contracts.
  • Develop strategies to penetrate new markets, expand the company's customer base, and increase market share.
  • Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM software; contribute to the forecasting activities.
  • Track key performance metrics such as sales revenue, conversion rates, and client/customer satisfaction, and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities and stay competitive.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated by goals and deadlines and demonstrate a track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong track record of navigating complex client organizational structures
  • Experience with closing deals with medium to long sales cycles (3-6 months)
  • Experience with large enterprises and government agencies (DoTs, EPA, HUD, Public works, municipalities)
  • Previous experience in business development and sales, with a proven track record of driving growth and acquiring net new clients.
  • Experience with prospecting, cold calling, sales outreach and creating a sales pipeline through outbound activities
  • Knowledge of the industry is recommended
  • Strong negotiation skills are essential for success to persuade potential clients/customers to engage with the business.
  • Strong networking skills to identify new opportunities and expand their professional network.
  • Bringing your own network in DoTs, public works, public safety, aec, horizontal construction etc is a strong plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical skills for conducting market research, analyzing data, and evaluating the performance of business development initiatives.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, sales automation tools, and other relevant technologies.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field is desired.
  • Proficient English language skills, written and spoken

Compensation Range: On target total earnings OTE of $116,000 to $168,000 (60/40 commission split), subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. In addition to base salary, the role includes an opportunity to receive and/or earn a discretionary bonus based on Company’s plans and in accordance with Company’s policies. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
