Sales Operations Analyst

Remote US NC, United States

Analyze sales data to develop solutions that help identify and resolve potential issues with sales performance.

*Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S.

What You Will Do:

  • Play a key role in the annual planning process which involves evaluating organizational structures for assigned sales teams and working to manage through any organizational changes.
  • Gather and organize sales data, both historical data as well as future pipeline data.
  • Confer with sales associates to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems and procedures in areas such as pipeline and forecast management using systems and tools like CRM and dashboards or other reporting tools.
  • Involved in transformation projects on new systems and processes by giving their recommendations on how proposed changes would impact the groups they support.
  • Meet with sales associates to gather feedback and make observations on reporting, processes, and organizational structures.
  • Work with sales management in identifying problems and improvement opportunities for reports and dashboards to best share data with sales associates. Involved in training sales associates on new reporting and sales processes.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Strategic Management, Finance, Economics or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related role.
  • Must have three (3) years of experience working within sales planning / operations, finance, business consulting, strategy and successfully partnering cross-functionally across a global team.
  • Must have two (2) years of experience with: supporting the planning and forecasting processes, including providing pipeline analysis as well as analyzing key business metrics and drivers and providing insights to businesses by identifying risks and proposing recommendations; creating Tableau or Salesforce dashboards and reports for analysis; and handling large, complex data sets, conducting analysis, and building financial models with sensitivity analysis.
  • Must have one (1) year of experience creating pivot tables, using lookup formulas, and visualizing data with graphs with Excel or Google Sheets.

The salary range for this position is $111,850 - $179,000. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
