We are seeking a highly self-motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong desire to find and win new business while also managing and growing existing accounts. Responsible for driving sales growth with minimal supervision in our flexible packaging division.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities. Leverage your hunter mentality to seek out potential customers and close deals.
  • Account Growth: Manage and grow existing customer relationships, including inherited accounts. 
  • Transition: Ensure a smooth transition and continued growth, focusing on both new customer acquisition and growing existing accounts.
  • Customer Visits: Conduct monthly on-site visits with our largest customers to strengthen relationships and drive additional business.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets. Balance your focus between hunting new business and expanding existing customer revenue.

Reporting and Analysis: 

  • Regularly prepare, submit and report on opportunities. 

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record as a self-driven sales professional with a strong desire to find and win new business.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving aggressive sales targets.
  • Strong skills in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Experience in both new business development and account management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or comparable life experience. 

Geography & Travel: 

  • The Sales Manager is located the Atlanta, GA area with sales responsibilities and travel throughout north America.  Remote work. 
  • Travel: As needed. Up to 50%.
