Job Description:

Arrow Electronics is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to lead our Citrix relationship within our Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) division. This role is responsible for driving opportunities, growing the business, and creating new sales campaigns while managing both direct and indirect reports.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage the entire Citrix relationship, overseeing sales strategies and execution.

  • Drive revenue growth through new business development, channel engagement, and strategic sales initiatives.

  • Develop and execute innovative sales campaigns to expand market presence and drive demand.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, channel partners, and internal teams.

  • Effectively manage and develop a large, diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborate across functions and regions within a highly matrixed organization to achieve business objectives.

Leadership:

  • Recruit, hire, and mentor top sales management talent.

  • Set the tone for the Sales Team through professional demeanor and appropriate responsiveness to the organization.

  • Create an environment of unified vision between the vendor and Arrow's customer service and sales capacity.

  • Strategically manage vendor and customer relationships.

  • Ensure high-potential talent on teams by guiding managers on recruiting, hiring, performance reviews, development plans, and promotional opportunities.

Sales:

  • Create a vision and strategy for the respective business/sales team, providing leadership in achieving maximum sales, profitability, and growth.

  • Use sales data, SLAs, and metrics to implement systems and processes to grow and improve the sales team.

  • Maintain a senior level understanding of the marketplace and trends, identifying solutions to shortcomings in sales numbers through active management of opportunities.

  • Ensure the Sales Team is meeting business unit expectations by measuring performance results against goals.

Relationship Building:

  • Create a partnership with vendors and customers with trust and respect as foundational elements.

  • Leverage relationships to enhance brand, sales, and profitability.

  • Act with vendors, customers, and Arrow in mind during all decision-making processes.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum 12 years of sales, channel, and leadership experience, with a proven track record in business strategy and sales execution.

  • Expertise in selling IT services, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, SaaS, and/or enterprise-level software/hardware solutions.

  • Demonstrated success in leading large and diverse teams, driving growth in a competitive market.

  • Superior leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to and influence C-level executives.
