JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at TriNet you will serve as the face of a well established, reputable company that empowers the small business community to focus on what matters most – growing their business. This individual is often the first line of communication between TriNet and prospective clients as the person responsible for identifying, contacting and qualifying opportunities for the sales organization to generate new business. This role, coupled with TriNet emphasis on continuous learning and defined career paths, will lay the foundation for a successful sales career. - Secure meetings with the right people, at the right place, at the right time to create high quality sales opportunities for the field sales team.
- The focus each day for our SDRs is getting connected with decision makers, extending the conversation, and securing meetings for our field sales team.
- Use internal sales tools and resources to execute a high touch sales cadence on prospects.
- Make around 80 cold calls a day to prospects to gauge interest.
- Initiate contact with prospects through a multi-channel outbound prospecting strategy using phone calls, email, and LinkedIn.
- Attend meetings you’ve scheduled and conduct routine check-ins with your Sales Consultant to receive feedback on the opportunities you have created.
- Execute a follow-up strategy on prospects that were not interested but may be in the future or were interested but did not buy.
- Develop new sales strategies based on personal successes and failures and share what’s working with your peers!
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- N/A
Experience:
- 0-1 years experience in sales prospecting and research

The salary range for this role is $41,600 to $57,600. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.
Candidates hired into roles in the sales organization are also eligible for commissions consistent with TriNet’s commission plan.
