Join Ecolab’s Quick Service Restaurant Team as a Sales Development Manager.  Ecolab QSR is the leading global supplier of cleaning and sanitation products, programs, and services to national quick serve restaurants. Known as 'Your Food Safety Experts', our mission is to provide a cleaning and sanitation program that helps ensure our customers have clean, food-safe environments while delivering savings to their bottom line.  As a Sales Development Manager you will build & grow profitable client relationships with commercial businesses to protect their brand, their facilities, and the health and safety of their employees and customers.  You will drive sales and attain budget goals by leveraging prospecting, cold calling, and networking skills to target quick service restaurants to offer our Ware wash and Water Filtration programs.
 
We are looking for candidates who reside in the Denver (CO) area, and are open to those living in Colorado Springs, Fort Collins or Cheyenne. Candidates must also be willing to travel overnight approximately 25% of the time.

What You Will Do:

  • Generate new sales from targeted new product introductions.
  • Maintain and increase sales with current corporate account customers.
  • Represent Ecolab in assigned customer relationships.
  • Maintain an awareness of competitive, customer and industry conditions and report them to management.
  • Able to conduct quarterly business reviews with customers.
  • Able to lead special projects such as tests in customer locations.


Position Details: 

  • This position is based in: Denver, CO  
  • Territory covers Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana
  • 25% overnight travel required.  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in foodservice
  • 1+ years of outside sales experience
  • Availability for approximately 25% overnight travel
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • No Immigration Sponsorship available

 
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business to Business sales experience
  • Ability to lead cross-divisional teams.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales commitments.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully closing major deals with new corporate accounts.
  • Seasoned Negotiator
  • Strong interpersonal, communications and listening skills.
  • Results oriented and entrepreneurial with solid business instincts.
  • Automated Ware wash and/or Water Filtration experience

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

The base salary range is $68,000 - $95,000. This role is eligible for a 15% business unit incentive plan based on achievement of revenue generating metrics, per plan terms. The total compensation range is: $78,000 - $115,000+ annually.

9/1/2024

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range is based on full-time 40 hours per week. Ecolab in good faith anticipates it will pay within the posted range. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the compensation for a potential new employee such as education, training, experience, work location, travel (if required), etc.
