Sales AVP – Digital Kitchen Operating System

Ecolab is seeking a transformative Sales AVP to spearhead the go-to-market strategy around our latest technological innovation, Digital Kitchen Operating System. This is a rapidly growing area within our organization focused on transforming how restaurants operate, enabling them to become more efficient and sustainable via digital analytics. This role will also be responsible for building out and leading a newly formed sales team to drive this cutting-edge AI reporting solution that will optimize operations for our customers, particularly within the restaurant industry.

What You Will Do:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Digital SaaS Sales strategy to achieve company revenue targets and expand our customer base within the restaurant space
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing digital sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Collaborate internally with the Product and Customer Success teams to ensure customer feedback is incorporated to drive revenue growth
- Monitor restaurant market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges, adjusting sales strategies accordingly
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to sales performance, such as revenue growth, customer acquisition costs, and customer lifetime value
- Support the overall Go-to-Market (e.g., pricing) strategy, including participation in marketing campaigns, events, and customer engagement activities
Position Details:
- Candidate can reside anywhere in the U.S. near a major airport
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% nationwide
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8 years’ experience in digital SaaS sales
- People leadership experience
- Negotiation and contract management expertise
- No immigration sponsorship available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Digital experience within the restaurant / foodservice industry
- Track record of driving revenue growth and customer acquisition
- Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats and pivoting as necessary to deliver results
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex product information clearly
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships, with a focus on customer satisfaction and trust
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills (e.g., with development teams)
- Genuine interest in new technologies and innovation particularly in the AI space
- Experience in restaurant space
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is $152,700.00 - $229,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentives based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
