Position Description:

PAR Punchh, A PAR Technology product, is the industry's leading restaurant loyalty and marketing software, designed to help brands deliver seamless omnichannel restaurant loyalty programs.

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing contract renewals across PAR’s client base, ensuring high retention rates and driving revenue growth. This role involves strategic negotiations, identifying upsell opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver value and long-term success for clients.

Position Location: Remote, based in US with 5-10% travel

Reports To: Punchh Growth Sales team

What We’re Looking For:

Requirements:

• Renewal Management: Lead, manage and execute the full lifecycle of the renewal process for assigned accounts.

• Ensure all renewals are completed on time and meet or exceed revenue retention goals.

• Negotiate renewal terms to optimize contract value while maintaining strong client relationships.

• Cross Department Collaboration: Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment on client health, contract terms, and future growth opportunities.

• Work closely across all teams to highlight Punchh’s value and ensure renewals reflect any product or pricing updates.

• Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling both within the renewal process and proactively.

• Collaborate with sales engineering, solution architects, and marketing teams to position add-on solutions effectively.

• Data Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of customer contracts, renewals, and key customer data in the CRM.

• Collaborate with Customer Success to analyze customer usage and performance metrics to develop tailored renewal strategies.

Additional skills:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.

• 3-5 years of experience in renewals or sales

• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding renewal and retention targets.

• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with business, technology, and marketing executives in mid-market and enterprise accounts.

• Experience managing a CRM system (Salesforce, or comparable) for contract and pipeline tracking.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple renewals simultaneously.

• Familiarity with SaaS pricing models and contract negotiation.

• Strong understanding of solution-based consultative sales and client lifecycle management.

Manage Full Renewal Process:

• Own end-to-end contract renewals, ensuring timely completion and minimizing churn.

• Negotiate renewal terms to optimize both client satisfaction and contract value.

Client Engagement & Retention:

• Lead strategic renewal discussions with clients, providing tailored recommendations based on business needs.

• Collaborate with Customer Success to monitor account health and address risks proactively.

Identify Growth Opportunities:

• Leverage renewal discussions to uncover upselling and cross-selling opportunities for additional products and services.

• Partner with sales teams to position add-on solutions and modules.

Data-Driven Strategy:

• Analyze account usage and performance to inform renewal terms and identify growth potential.

• Maintain accurate records of renewal activities, forecasts, and outcomes within the CRM.

Collaborate Across Teams:

• Work with pricing, product, and marketing teams to ensure renewals reflect product updates and pricing strategies.

• Contribute to process improvements and best practices for managing renewals effectively.
