What will you be doing?

Circana is seeking a talented Analyst to support clients to maximize their retail collaborative gateway investments and own the client experience for new and existing clients. This team is a fast-paced, high profile and innovative team responsible for growing Circana’s client base.

The ideal candidate for this role would possess knowledge of Circana tools, retail collaborative experience, the ability to interpret data, strong project management skills and is client focused.

Job Responsibilities

The Retail Account Management & Strategy Consultant will work closely with Account Leads and assist clients participating with Circana Retail Collaborative Gateways. Client Consultant will possess and execute upon the following skill sets:

Advanced Analytic Skills: Demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret data and translate it into meaningful solutions for clients:

  • Approach client with coherent, actionable, and fact-based data/recommendations appropriate to their business needs
  • Continually provide analytical solutions and business insights to address any business gaps and/or opportunities and create value for the client.
  • Identify business issues and opportunities and suggests the appropriate level analytic solution/approach.
  • Educate the client on analytic methods, shape their thinking, and influence the decisions they make.

Impactful Presence: Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills; present a professional image:

  • Become trusted by client, Circana client solutions teams, Circana cross-functional organizations, and Circana business partners and considered a domain expert and
    business partner.
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach to communication; adapt messages quickly to the appropriate level or function with poise and polish.
  • Able to engage in consultative manner with clients when helping solve/manage content deliverables.
  • Have solid communication and interpersonal skills and be able to problem solve and troubleshoot.

Client Focus:  Consistently act with client satisfaction in mind and follow through on commitments to ensure the needs of the client are met:

  • Engaging on issue that matter most to the client’s retail business.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements.
  • Help customers identify solutions to problems they did not know they had.
  • Regularly and proactively communicate with the client-facing teams, including soliciting feedback to continually improving the relationship.
  • Track and organize multiple work streams against multiple clients and manage time and resources against changing priorities.

Quality Control:

  • Drive to achieve high-quality service to deliver an exceptional experience and results for the client and high level of satisfaction with Circana.

Planning and Organizing:

  • Coordinating and executing the delivery of on-going and ad-hoc Retail Collaborative Gateway content, insights, analysis, and reporting.
  • Developing and leveraging strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Detail and process oriented with attention to detail and strong organizational, project management skills.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience with syndicated data, analytics, category management, and/or sales with a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company or other companies using syndicated or POS data - required.
    • Experience utilizing syndicated data solutions such as Circana/IRI Unify+ is strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated expertise in translating data and analysis into relevant implications.
    • Experience in various software programs, especially MS Excel & PowerPoint
    • Ability to adapt to new situations and flexibility to handle various tasks.
    • Strong project management and process skills
    • Able to engage in a consultative manner with clients when helping solve/manage content deliverables.
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and strong analysis/consultative skillset
    • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus.

    The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.  An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

    The salary range for this role is $64,000.00 $110,000.00. 

    This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
