Job Summary

As a Regional Vice President (RVP), you will lead, manage, and inspire a team of senior leaders and set the culture for providing top-notch service to our national accounts that have global reach.  You'll partner closely with your national peers and the CEO/CFO to deliver on the organizational mission, support Key Performance Indicators in our dynamic environment, and sustain and grow our business. 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Leads, manages, and inspires a team of diverse district managers and/or regional directors of operations, and their teams, to provide top-notch service to operations in assigned region 
  • Drives self and team towards building strong relationships with clients and achievement of key performance indicators
  • Supports the development and implementation of programs that meet client needs
  • Prepares and conducts presentations to clients, and coordinates the development of proposals
  • Serves on the leadership team, influencing and leading client operations, and regularly communicates with peers to share best practices, mitigate risks, champion diversity, and build community
  • Owns key client decisions with team input, weighing risks and rewards along with short- and long-term implications; strategically, thoughtfully, and persuasively communicates based on type of issue
  • Sets tone for culture of team and regularly meets with team to ensure full transparency, education, accountability, and alignment and to discuss current priorities, processes, and projects
  • Serves as representative/brand ambassador of the sector to most senior clients in the region, and acts as escalation point
  • Resolves escalated client and customer satisfaction issues
  • Drives strategies for growth, ultimate responsibility for new business rollouts, building relationships with clients, maintaining client satisfaction, account retention, and negotiating key contract renewal terms and pricing
  • Collaborates with key partners on projects and/or initiatives
  • Champions development and conducts performance evaluations, along with succession planning; has full understanding of all roles within operation
  • Owns client financial results/P&L, pricing, and works with team to ensure accuracy for reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes
  • Ensures consistent and fair administration of all policies and procedures
  • Recognizes and anticipates marketplace trends; participates in strategic planning meetings
     

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s or masters degree from an accredited college or university, or eight (8) years progressive experience in multi-unit foodservice, hospitality management, plant operations management, or other support services area in lieu of degree.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Strong background in senior leadership roles with experience in contract and budget management, customer service, account management, people development, processes, negotiations, etc.
  • Proven track record of growing a business and leading large cross-functional teams, along with excellent business and financial acumen
  • Experience managing a team of managers and/or directors
  • Has ability to think quickly, analytically, strategically, and accurately
  • Shows expert client relationship, influencing, listening, and negotiation
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrates initiative, ownership, multi-tasking, prioritization, and organizational skills in a changing environment
  • Champions inclusion mindset, and is proactive, positive, professional, flexible, and resilient
  • Very proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite
  • Moderate/heavy travel required in this position
