Job Description
As the Regional Vice President, Solutions Engineering NORAM, you will be responsible for all aspects of building and managing a regional team of high-performing Solution Engineers, the technical counterparts to our sales teams.
You will be asked to: Be a cultural flag carrier for the organization and embody what strong partnership and collaboration looks like across SE roles, as well with other teams and functions. In close partnership with sales, grow the SE organization and ensure we are prepared to scale alongside the introduction and growth of multiple products, industries, segments, and GTM motions.
Evolve repeatable processes, playbooks, job architectures, enablement, and other programs needed to achieve this scale and increase win rates. Translate thought leadership into action with sales and customer experience to ensure that feedback from the field is making its way into the product and GTM strategy.
This role reports to the VP of Solutions Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as business owner for various (regional) SE policies and operations
- Ensures timely dissemination and communication of dept. goals and objectives

- Bias for teamwork and collaboration; strong cross-functional relationship builder
- Sensitivity and appreciation for open source and the bottom-up motions

- Blending technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic vision to drive regional success and contribute to the overall goals of Dynatrace
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education or experience required.
- 3+ years of experience within the observability space.
- Experience working in developer-centric GTM motions, or monitoring observability
Preferred Requirements:
- 10+ years industry experience within observability, security, and/or cloud computing space
- Experience leading a team of senior-level SEs/SE Managers
- Extensive experience with complex, enterprise sales
- Proven success working in a fast-paced, high growth environment

Compensation and rewards:
- The base salary range for this role is $190,000 - $275,000. When determining your salary, we consider your experience, skills, education, and work location.
- Our total compensation package includes unlimited personal time off, an employee stock purchase plan, and a reward system.
- We also offer medical/dental benefits, and a company matching 401(k) plan for retirement.
