Pre-Sales Technical Consultant, Enterprise Informatics - Radiology
The Pre-Sales Tech Consultant provides technical expertise through sales presentations, product/solutions demonstrations, by a thorough discovery and deep understanding of customers needs. Drives overall business and product deal support by providing clinical and technical product (EI modality) expertise on the product / modality across the accounts.
Your role:
- You will lead technical discussion/demonstration with customer, creating relationships and using sales skills, conduct interviews in a manner that uncovers a deep understanding of customer workflow, needs and goals to favorably position Philips solutions.
- You will apply expert technical experience and superb sales skills, creating a unique experience for the customer by telling a compelling story to positioning Philips solution in a manner that fits the customers’ needs in an energizing and positive manner.
- As the technical expert, you will assist and/or conduct customer presentations in a professional and engaging manner, understanding customers’ needs and quoting solutions to meet those needs.
- You will provide sales team with technically relevant material for strategic sales planning. Actively work to improve self-clinical knowledgebase by reading journals, articles, attending classes etc. and share with team members. Assists in other various sales activities.
- You will assist in requested RFP responses, leveraging the understanding of technical architecture and knowledge of Philips products. You will construct answers to RFP questions in an accurate manner that positions Philips to succeed.
You're the right fit if:
- You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience in health care related field with a minimum of 3 years in sales related role.
- You must have in depth knowledge of ancillary radiology workflow with a strong understanding of industry trends
- Effective written and verbal communications skills, strong technical and presentation skills
- You have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, or 7+ years of relevant professional work/military experience.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Sales position. You may be required to roll large equipment up to 100 lbs.
- Travel requirements up to 50% nationally.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $162,500 to $173,000 annually. Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.
Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Details about our benefits can be found here.
