About the Role:
Are you ready to join a collaborative, results-focused team that enjoys helping businesses accomplish their goals? In this role, you'll report to the Sales Engineering Manager, and serve as a technical sales support, focused on moving prospects through the buyer's journey.A day in life includes having a successful candidate to support the Sales team and customers on technical and product related matters as well as communicate directly with the Lead Generation and Engineering Teams.
Ways You Will Contribute to Our Collective Success
- Analyze prospects technical needs and suggest technical concepts to solve the needs
- Perform technology demonstrations via web meetings, in person and at trade shows
- Understand the customer's business and technical needs; assist the Sales Team through the sales process to pursue opportunities for new logo, expansion, and integration
- Provide fast and targeted responses to prospects technical questions
- Organize statements of work for prospects
- Communicate with Support and Product teams by providing feedback and submitting questions on technical and product related matters, as appropriate
- Maintain notes and document activities in Customer Relationship Management system
- Have a understanding of pricing models and licensing options
Work Schedule/Environment:
- This can be a work-from-home-based role in any of the following states: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New York, Massachusetts, Texas, Tennessee, and Washington.
- We offer a flexible work schedule.
- Employees can also work from our Tampa, FL, Office if they wish.
The Background and Experience You Need to Support Success
- Associates of Science Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Two or more years of related experience in web application implementation, Technical Account Management, or Implementation Consulting; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to conceptualize creative sales and presentation concepts.
- Understanding of the sales process.
- Objection handling to move the sales process forward.
- Familiar with computer hardware/software OS and technologies.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects and Proof of Concepts (POC).
- Capable of effective communication with prospects with a sales minded approach.
- Ability to have a sales perspective with minimal guidance moving prospects through the sales process.
- Working knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts and practices of the buyer's journey through the POC.
Preferred:
- Understanding of, Web Development Technologies and Frameworks such as .NET, JavaScript, JAVA, CSS, & RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of supporting web applications on Microsoft IIS/.NET, Apache Tomcat, or JBoss/Other
- Understanding of integrating SaaS applications with backend systems via RESTful APIs a plus.
