Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a National Accounts Manager – Residential Builders!

Position Summary

As National Account Manager for Residential Builders the ideal candidate will focus on acquiring and developing Ferguson's national customer base. Specifically focused on growing sales to key Regional Builders, Builder Buying Groups, Franchise Builders and Regional Build on Your Lot Builders. In addition to driving profitable sales, driving the customer groups product strategy featuring Own Brand products and programs will be a focus; /national Renovation Contractors, Brand renovation programs, Ownerships groups and Management companies through reinforcement of sales management practices and developing a long-term plan that will meet the customer’s needs and our sales, profitability and productivity goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with key national Franchise Groups, Build on your Lot Builders, Buying Groups and Regional Single Family Builders.
  • Develop relationships with key vendors which meet branch and corporate objectives
  • Customer retention through monthly/quarterly financial reviews, project management and execution of the program strategy.
  • Organize and participate in trade shows and other customer activities.
  • Develop and analyze market information.
  • Work with team to build customer programs and provide direction to field sales, marketing and operations support functions.
  • Provide frequent communication to Blended Field Sales and Directors on program requirements, advancements and opportunities.
  • Identify new product/business opportunities based on customer need.
  • Integrate and prioritize corporate programs and initiatives.
  • Identify sales of existing products by customers and improve the sales.
  • Ensure quotes, submittals and RFP’s are accurate and timely.
